GRE，即 Graduate Record Examination ，美國研究生入學考試，是世界各地的大學各類研究生院要求申請者所具備的一個入學考試成績。
GMAT，即 Graduate Management Admission Test ，經企管理研究生入學考試，美國、英國、澳大利亞等國家高校會采用該成績來評估申請入學者是否適合于在商業、經濟和管理等專業的研究生階段學習。
不過，也有相當一部分院校及其研究生項目并不考核申請者的GRE/GMAT成績，且受到COVID-19影響，也有相當一部分的留學項目暫時取消了對這兩項成績的考核，或改為選擇性提交成績單，即可以提交也可以不用提交。
